Cash Transfer by Transaction

Menu Path: Finance > Cash Book > Cash Transfer by Transaction

When we transfer cash by transactions from one cash book to another cash book, we literally move the transactions in one cash book to another one. This is very different from the Basic Cash Transfer because it retains original transactions within the cash book, and creates additional entry for the transfer as a lump sum figure.

Imagine we have 2 cash books, A and B. The transactions in blue are to be transferred from Cash book A into Cash book B.

Step by Step Guide to perform Cash Transfer by Transaction

Step 1 : Choose your Company --> Submit

Step 2 : Select Cashbook From  (move out) and Cashbook To (move in) --> Submit

Step 3 : Click at 'Select Transaction' --> it will come to a 'pop-up' page (If Can't view the pop up, please click the (error) at the URL bar on right corner, Click Allow pop up)

Step 4 : Select the date of transaction you would like to transfer --> Submit --> The list of transactions (at your specified date) will all listed down

Step 5 : 'Tick " the items that u want to transfer --> Then click ' select'. Click 'Close' at the bottom.

Step 6 : You will be able to see the items that you just selected at the main page ( Cash Transfer by Transaction)

Step 7 : If there are items you miss out, repeat Step 3 - 6. If you want to remove certain items, just click the remove button

Step 8 : Once it's all correct, click Confirm and Save.
