Sales Reports

A sales analysis report shows the trends that occur in a company's sales volume over time. A record of calls made and products sold during a particular time frame kept by a sales person , outlet manager or management. For example, a sales volume observed per item or group of items.

In its most basic form, a sales analysis report shows whether sales are increasing or declining. At any time during the fiscal year, sales managers may analyze the trends in the report to determine the best course of action. Managers often use sales analysis reports to identify market opportunities and areas where they could increase volume. For instance, sales trends during periods and revenue reports. This data can help direct the company to establish market trends and demands.

SR-05Stock Sales Report

This report displays the In and Out of inventory quantities due to Sales or Sales Return. the balance quantity can be obtained here as at specific dates. The other information provided are :

  • Unit price = How much it is invoiced (sales price) or for Sales Return (how much is refunded or CM to customers).
  • Unit Cost (Average) = Cost / Quantity
  • Amount = Quantity x Unit price
  • Cost = Quantity x Unit Cost (Average)
  • Gross Margin = Amount - Cost
  • Margin (%) = Gross Margin / Amount x 100%
SR-06Stock Sales by Item CodeThis report displays the summary (No documents displayed) of item codes and the QTY sold, including the Price, Cost and GP. 
SR-07Stock Sales Details Report By Item Code (same with SBR-07)This report allows user to view the item codes which has backlog 
SR-08Sales Report by Daily, Weekly or Monthly

Allows users to do comparison between 2 or more months on Sales for each Item Code. This report will give information on the sales quantity which might help to analyze the stock ordering management. 

SR-09Detailed Sales Item and Finance Charges Report

The cost of sales for each invoice item is not limited to the inventory cost (cost of goods sold). There are several other costs incurred, for example, if the customers pay using Credit Card or Easy Payment Scheme (EPP) where finance charges could be amounting to between 5% to 9%, which is pretty significant. While giving out sales commissions to the salesman, sometimes it makes sense to deduct these direct charges, and only pay out commissions based on gross profit calculated after deducting these finance charges etc.

SR-10Gross Profit by Invoice ReportFrom this report, users will be able to know the summarized gross profit (GP) amount of each invoice and the progress of the settlement of the invoice.
SR-11Stock Sales Report By Item Code with Discount and TaxThis report allows user to view the Item Codes with the List Price as well as the Discount before Tax and the Price amount after Tax.

This report shows the sales and profit by customer type and item category.

SR-27 can be compared with SR-06 on the Sales Amount Exclude Tax and GP. make sure the filter are the same when generating both report

  • Stock Balance = Acc Inv Value in SBR-05 for the selected location, as of the selected Date To

  • Stock Turn Ratio = Stock Balance / Cost
  • Last Purchase = last GRN for the selected location

  • Select Branch
  • Select Date Range 
  • Select Customer Type from the drop down list → deselect will generate ALL types
  • Select DetailsCompany Name or Contact Person and Company Name
  • Tick Display Columns if needed

  • Tick Options → Show Receipt with 0 amount
  • Click Generate Report
  • Click Printable Page → to print current columns or tables
  • Click Printable Page without Salesman → to print current columns or tables without salesman column
  • Click Printable Page with Branch Running Number → to print current columns or tables with Branch Running Number

  • Click Printable Page with Customer Invoice Listing → to print without Payment Method, Terms, Trade In, Disc, Tax and User

  • Click Printabe Page with Signature → to print current columns or table with signature

NOTES:

Terms = Invoice Amount - Sum of Receipt (RCT) / Cedit Memo (CM)

This report allow user/Manager to monitor daily/weekly/monthly/yearly invoices generated by Branch, User and Salesman for controlling/auditing purpose.

 SR-05 Stock Sales Report

  • Key In Specific Item Code or Item Fuzzy Search for desciption or select the Item Category
  • Select Item Status and item Type
  • Select the Calculate Base On
  • Select Group by → base on item level category
  • Tick Sort by → Item Name, Gross Profit, Quantity Sold
  • Tick Options → Show Zero Sold Qty, Batch Expiry(Qty Sold, Show Sale Amount, Show Delta GP, Show Qty Sold

  • Click on Export Excel or CSV to export current table

Notes:

  • Cost View and Branch Availability are guided by permissions
  • If Branch is selected, but no location → system will be filtered by branch
  • If Location is selected > system will be filtered by location
  • If Location and Branch are selected > will be filtered by both

 SR-07 Stock Sales Details Report By Item Code (Same with SBR-07)

 SR-08 Sales Report by Daily, Weekly or Monthly

  • Select Date Range → by month, week or day
  • Tick Group by →  Item level, branch or do not group; refer below as sample.

Item Level → categorized by item level

Branch → categorized by branch

Do not Group → indicate the whole company performance

  • Click on Printable Page → to print current columns or tables
  • Click Printable Page 2 → to print by group
  • Click Export Excel or CSV → to export current tables or columns
NOTES:
  • GP column will shown regardless the user only allowed to see specific cost (replacement cost or MA cost) → calculation is based on the "calculate base on' column

 SR-09 Detailed Sales Item and Finance Charges Report

  • Click Printable Page 3 → for format another printable arrangement

  • Click Printable with Serial Number 
  • Click Printable Page 5 → to print include invoice outstanding

  • Click Printable Page 6 → to show the item category 

  • Click Export to Excel or CSV → to export current columns
  • Click Google Sheet → to link with google sheet or google drive


 SR-10 Gross Profit by Invoice Report

From this report, users will be able to know the summarized gross profit (GP) amount of each invoice and the progress of the settlement of the invoice.

  • Select Branch → controlled by permission
  • Select Date Range
  • Key In Specific Customer ID or click Select for search function
  • Select Bill To and customer type
  • Tick and Key in Gross Margin, Margin % Range → if any
  • Tick to show Negative Gross Profit only→ if any
  • Select the Calculate Base On → controlled by permission to view replacement cost or MA cost by company
  • Click Generate Report

 SR-11 Stock Sales Report by Item Code with Discount and Tax

  • Select Location → controlled by permission
  • Select Date Range
  • Key In Specific Item Code or Item Fuzzy Search for description or select the Item Category
  • Select Item Status, Item Category and item Type → for additional filter
  • Tick to show zero discount and tax → if any
  • Click Generate Report Now

  • Key in Specific Customer ID or click Select for search function
  • Select Customer Type → if any
  • Select Branch → controlled by permission

  • Stock Balance : Acc Inv Value in SBR-05 for the selected location, as of the selected Date To
  • Stock Turn Ratio : Stock Balance / Cost
  • Last Purchase : last GRN for that location

  • Select Company and click 'Change'
  • Select Location
  • Select Date Range
  • Key in specific Item Code or click 'Item Code Fuzzy Search' for search function
  • Key in Item Code Rangeif any
  • Select Item Status → default is active
  • Select Item Type → deselect all will generate ALL types
  • Select Group By → item category under Item Categories
  • Tick Options → default will tick all options 
  • Click "Generate Report" 

  • Click Printable Page → to print current columns or tables
  • Click Export Excel xls File → to export current tables or columns to excel file

 SR-31 Multi Branch Stock Sales Summary By Item Code

This report is similar to SR-06, however this report will show Balance Stock as of date with QTY, Sales Amount before Tax and GP% by selective branches

  • Select Date Range
  • Select Location and Branches → need to choose EITHER Location or branch
  • Select Salesman
  • Select Customer Type → deselect all will generate ALL
  • Key in Item Code → if any
  • Select Item Category → if any
  • Select Item Status → by default is active
  • Select Item Type deselect all will generate ALL
  • Select Calculate Base On → under Inventory (Permission)
  • Select Group By → refer to Item Category Level
  • Select Sort By  Item Name, Gross Profit or QTY Sold
  • Tick Options
  • Click Generate Report Now
