Externally Hosted Server Guide - Procedures required before EMP installation

*Installation will be done using Team Viewer and charges apply. If On-site installation is requested (additional charges will apply).

Minimum specs required:

● Processor: 2x4-core (or more) processors

● Memory: 16GB RAM

● Storage: 3xSCSI 10,200 RPM discs in a RAID(w/ hot spare) or RAID 5 configuration, 300 GB Hardisk

*** The RAID 1 requirement is compulsory due to critical nature of your business data

● Optical Drive: DVD-ROM drive

● Server Casing: Rack Mountable casing, with redundant power supplies and cooling hardware.

*** Note: Server maintenance to be borne by end-user

● Networking: Minimum 10Mbps Internet Speed

Wavelet Solutions Sdn Bhd although does not recommend having Server installed locally. If you wish to proceed with hosting your own Server. We would require the following completed, before our Technical Team will assist with the Installation of the EMP on your local server.

Please also keep in mind, Server maintenance will be expected to be done by your end. Although we will be backup your data daily remotely. We do not bear responsibility if the Server is unavailable due to network problem , power outage or hardware failure, we can alternatively assist to transfer your last available backup to Cloud Services available (Additional monthly charges apply).
